I want to share another website that I made in school for an architecture history class. here, you can read why I made the website:
This site was created for the final assignment of the History of Architecture IV course. The aim is to examine the architecture of the twentieth century in a chronological order and interpreting it. It is based on the changes that architecture has undergone with the variable point of view of architects.
This format was created to let the viewer see details and the bigger picture whenever they want.
10 architects who has changed the flow of the architecture world in 20th century was chosen, although it is accepted that architecture is a communal thing and to create change, there must have been so many heads.
The net of connections are my comments on how the change was shaped through one’s mind. The orange lines and texts indicate the bigger roles.
This site consists of three main pages.
First one is the timeline. There, you can see 10 architects chosen in the chronological order. When you click to the link icon next to their faces, you can see the detailed mind maps of every architect and this is the second (there is 10 of them) main page.
Third one is the integrated mind map. Here, you can see my interpretation of the connections that composed twentieth century architecture.
